This project is a joint eTwinning and Erasmus+ project where we are going to be working with students 3 to 12 years old. The project has got partner schools from Poland, Estonia and Spain. The main topic of the project will be Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), which is an approach where students learn a subject and a second language at the same time. In this project we want to combine a CLIL approach with Problem Based Learning (PBL), where students learn about a subject by working in groups to solve an open-ended problem. This eTwinning will help us share thoughts and experiences amongst CLIL teachers, while implementing CLIL-PBL projects that partner schools have already tested. It will give us the chance to learn from one another and improve our teaching practice. Further to that, we want to use this project as a cultural exchange experience, where students can gain knowledge about partner countires and therefore increase their undrestanding of European richness and diversity. To do so, we'll plan cultural activities, videoconferences, workshops and shared virtual and face to face experiences that students and teachers will be able to enjoy.

ICT in ACTION project

TEAM: Technology Exchange in Action Motivation project

The annual goal is to promote internationalization and European awareness by giving value to linguistic and cultural diversity through European projects to develop  intercultural skills.

During this school year 2022-23 we are going to work and cooperate with 2 primary schools, one from Sweden and another one from Estonia:

Participating in European projects and mobilities promotes knowledge of the EU in a meaningful, experiential and inclusive way for all students and teachers. Thanks to the participation in the Erasmus+ program, our school has a solid multilingual project that improves the learning and teaching of languages thanks to the cooperation with other schools. For us is essential to maintain participation in European projects so that future generations continue to be aware of Europe.

Carrying out a virtual project with other schools, participating in networks of cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as mobility and hosting visits from teachers and students contributes to developing the social and intercultural skills of the educational community, making them more tangible. This objective is linked to the multilingual and internationalization project of our school and will be developed throughout the Erasmus+ accreditation.

Launched in 2014, the Erasmus+ Programme has created numerous opportunities for mobility and cooperation in education, training, youth and sport. It has provided valuable skills and experience to participants, and helped to modernise education, training, and youth work across Europe.

The new Programme (2021-2027) aims to be even more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable. Important goals include supporting the digital transition in European education and helping to build the European Education Area.

To achieve these objectives, the new Programme has been designed to be easier than ever for organisations to access. Erasmus accreditation is crucial for this objective. Erasmus accreditation is a new way to access mobility activities under the new Programme. This brochure explains how accreditation works, who can apply, and what the benefits are.
